And so begins another year of law school.

Classes started today, I guess they were fine. The first one was Trusts and Decedents' Estates. I think maybe I want to go into estate planning, so maybe it's good that I take this class to decide if that's really what I want to do. The prof seems pretty cool, and he claims that he doesn't cold call so let's hope he's not lying about that one. Katie, Katie, Amy and Erin were all in the class so at least I had some friends--- almost everyone else was a third year (he had us raise our hands).

We went to the bookstore at lunch to buy cheat books, they had nothing I was interested in. Damn.

Second class was Evidence. With Moran. At least we know him, so it was comfortable. And he doesn't use a casebook, just one that explains things so it will be different. Shouldn't be too bad. The class was PACKED. Almost every seat was taken. Both Katies and Erin were in that with me too, so I had a seatmate that I liked luckily.

I'm supposed to do my internship Tues/Thurs but Ginny (the judge I'm working with for those of you who don't know her) is MIA so it looks like I have tomorrow off. I have emailed her, no response. I called her office today, told them who I was and they said "yeah, she's been in and out..." so they took my phone number and said they'd call me sometime. So until then, no internship for me.

Wednesday will be just like today was, then Thursday I have Professional Responsibility from 6:10-8:10 p.m.... Class til 8:10-- gross! Hopefully I'll have a friend or two in that class. Probably mostly night students, but I wanted to just get it over with so I'm doing it at night this semester.

No classes friday. yay for me! and yay for Gillian's jewelry party Friday evening!


Going to Ann Arbor for football on Saturday. Then studying on Sunday


Hmmm... that got kinda long, and in reality-- probably no one cares about law school. Oops, sorry 'bout that. maybe I'll be more fun next time.
